Appearance & Attitude:

Barry is a tranquil man with a very relaxed attitude towards life and service in Starfleet in general. He takes great pride in his appearance, with his broad masculine shoulders, and his muscular build. He wears rimless glasses as he is a little short-sighted. His wispy hair is well combed and looked after, and he wears his marriage rings.

Biography:

Barry didn't want to serve in Starfleet at first. he went to Oxford University, London, where he completed his PHD in Microbiology. He then was offered the position of Professor of microbiology at the university of Paris, but he declined the position as his father asked him if he would be a teacher in Starfleet for medical and science officers on Starbase 110. he accepted, and then when his work was done, he served on the USS IKON NCC-201181, where he was Chief Science Officer. He served with his father on this ship for many years, and now, after his father's death, he feels that it is time to move on to another vessel.
